Is it possible to have a Springfield operator finished like this? (Photo attached) Basically the lower piece of the gun is more of a grey color but it still have the two tone feel. Any other pictures of refinished 1911s or operators?

gunkote, norrels, baercoat, birdsong, lauer.....there's a long list of firearm finishes out there in as many shades of the rainbow you'd ever want.  If you want to do it yourself, brownells.com has everything you'll need except the oven.  If you want it professionally done, just do a google search for pistol refinishing and spend the next few hrs comparing prices and pics.

Have fun!

Ditto,
Para style flat black on the lower (baked to make it even flatter), HK style semi gloss on the upper (air dried).
