So, I have this Springfield Black Stainless 1911, fullsize, with the 3-dot Novak (or clone thereof) sights.
I'm thinking of replacing the rear sight with a 10-8, but I don't know what the height is of the rear sight that Springfield uses. (and I don't have anything that can measure it precisely enough, either––much to my chagrin, all I can do is approximate, which leads me to think it's about .32") Does anyone know what height the rear sight might be? I see that 10-8 sights come in .325" and .375" heights, so I'm trying to figure out which one I would need in order to keep my pistol shooting to the same place it does now. [ETA: I also notice that the chart 10-8 has on their webpage at http://www.10-8performance.com/id15.html lists both heights as possible for Springfield pistols, just to corroborate my ignorance] Older pic of the pistol in question, just because:

Those are just what I need!!! I ordered it with their "chestnut" clips, and a set of C-clips, also chestnut, in case I didn't like the regular ones. The C-clips are what I have on there now. Ordered them at the same time as I ordered the holster...but I kinda wish they'd had J-clips on their website instead too, I never could find them. Both types can be found here, then in each item's page, there's a pulldown menu for colors. when I ordered, the available ones were brown, black, and chestnut; I decided that the regular brown was darker than what I wanted, so I picked chestnut (to match the holster backing and my belt).
