Kinda bored so I'm gonna post some pics of my hard used SA TRP Operator .45

12.5 noveske for good measure :)

Love this gun, but all of the suddenly it's shooting 3" low and left, either that or I suddenly developed a flinch. Anyone have this happen? Lol

So what sort of hard use has it had?  I'm keenly interested.

This is my duty weapon so it been banged around a bit, went through several courses w/o cleaning it very well. use to take it to the range when I'm off and shoot paper steel bottles etc, so round count is high. In the last year I only had 2 ftf with it during a speed pistol course. I'm pretty sure it was the ammo, I took it out the next day and shot a bunch of my ammo with out any problems.

To me hard use = banged around, high rd count without cleaning, shooting Classes in bad weather(rain mud dust sand etc)

This was done on my phone so excuse grammar and sentence structure.

ETA: I also had a STI tactical 5.0, it cost me 300 more but I think the trp is way better. Tighter fit, nothing ever came loose and I don't remember having any malfunctions that were not related to ammo or mags.
Only other 1911s I have owed And sold were
kimber TLE
kimber warrior
sti tactical 5.0

Well, I don't own a Operator, YET! I have an AK TRP and a TRP Operator will soon join it, it's currently awaiting final payment at my local shop.

My AK TRP

Not a TRP, but my hard use/duty/edc MC Operator.  I need to post a more current pic with the added wear and tear.  I bought it second hand from someone who alleged it only had a 100 rounds or so through it (you never know, but I didn't really care).  It easily has over 5,000 rounds in it now, and may be closer to 10k.  I made the mistake of not keeping a log book for the gun.

I'm a little annoyed at one mark on the gun.  I had the gun in the outer pocket of my rifle case and sat the case on a hard surface not realizing there wasn't much padding in the case where the slide was.  I now have a nice long abrasion.  I'd really like to blow a couple hundred to get the gun coated in melonite or ionbond but I've got too many other purchases in the makes right now.

To be honest, I haven't really noticed a difference in the way the pull feels compared to the factory curved trigger.  Right now mine is somewhere between 4 and 4.5 pounds.
