So after 14 years of use, carry, and I don't even know how many rounds, I've got my PX4 Storm Subcompact torn down for a deep cleaning. Yeah, it was pretty gross and grimy in there. It's G model and if I rode the decocker up I could get it to stick halfway so that what brought on the deep cleaning. Should I replace some other springs while I got the guts out? I'm gonna throw in a new safety spring and safety roll pin. I got a new hammer spring from Langdon for Christmas so that's good there. Which other ones should I be looking at; extractor springs, trigger spring, trigger bar spring? I love that little gun

If its still working right, there's no reason to replace springs just cause you're bored. Maybe, but I don't ever want to discover the gun I'm carrying is broke. Springs wear out and I don't mind preventive maintenance. |
