On the handle, there is a little black spots beginning to show up that won't come off.
Has anyone else encountered this? If so, how do you clean them off?

No way would I spray paint near my baby. It looked like powder stains, but they won't come off, I've tried using solvent and gun oil. What best cleans Aluminum?

i would hope you would spray paint near it.
i don't know how to get it off. i only have a tomcat in stainless, and i've never seen any black spots on it. i'll see if i can't get the answer after work though...

Extra fine steel wool? My vertec hasent developed that problem.....Yet. Tell us what you find that works.

Good idea on using some steel wool. Other than those spots, the gun has performed flawlessly and shoots like a dream.
