Ordered at LGS, they said 2-4 weeks.  Been just over 4, still no gun.

All I needed was a complaint post and BAM, I get the call.  It's awesome in my giant hands.  Can't wait to shoot it!

Tell us what you think. I love the way the single stack fits and it seems to make shooting the larger caliber from such a small gun more manageable- how do you plan to carry it? I conceal under my jeans on the small of my back.

Be sure not to cripple yourself carrying your pistol at the absolute perfect place to dislodge your lower vertebrae if you fall on your ass.

Are you talking about the .45 or the 9mm?

I have a super tuck mini on the way for my holster. Anyone have this? How is it?

My XDS is a backup to my main carry, so it usually rides in a pocket holster.  An inside the waistband holster is comfortable around the house.

I use a Mini-Tuck for my XDS, it feels great in the 3-4 o-clock.

Tomorrow I'll be taking it for its first outing.  Unsure about carry at the moment, as it will obviously need to prove its reliability first.  I have very large hands so it should be a fun range day.

As for holsters, I have a supertuck that I like, so perhaps a mini-tuck.  I'm thinking of trying the N82 Tactical holster as well.

Well, put the first 100rds through it yesterday.  I LOVE it.  I haven't shot a .45 since I was a kid, so I wasn't sure what to expect.  It is indeed snappy, but not uncomfortably so.  I used the 7rd magazine at first, as my pinkie is completely off the grip with the 5rd ones (I have huge hands).  I only ended up using the extended mag twice, as the 5rd one is just fine, even one handed.  May sell the 7.

I'm coming back from a year of ignoring my guns, so I have alot of practice to do, but I was making 6" groups at 7 yards.  The gun is WAY more accurate than I am, and I can't wait to take it out again.

We had a single light strike in the 100rds, but it was my wife shooting offhand, and I'm positive it was operator error.

Cleaning it was a pita, lots of tight spaces in the safeties areas and whatnot, but I opted to overlube a bit rather than under.

VERY happy with this firearm.  2-300 more clean rounds and I'll definitely bump this to my daily CCW.
