I have a Sig Sauer P229 Elite with a Streamlight TLR- 2 light with laser attached to the rail. It has been working since I have had it for the past 3 months with no issues. Now the battery died, and I replaced them with the Surefire SF123A Lithium Battery. I have tried several different batteries of the same box of surefire batteries since I purchased a box and now the light works, but not the laser. Is it a possibility that this particular battery is the reason that my laser is not working. I have checked on streamlight's website, and it says to use CR123A batteries. I know it is simple to just go out and buy this battery to try it, but before I do I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and maybe it's not a defect in the laser itself, and possibly just the battery.
