Hi All,

Is the striker spring at chambered & cocked position under enough compression that it would set off the primer? Absent of any trigger contact.

A glock isn't "cocked" until the trigger moves to the rear with the striker tip being pushed by the tip of the trigger bar.

Also the striker block/safety plunger would not allow the striker to move forward to tap a primer unless the trigger is depressed.

That's what I was thinking, Great thanks.

Short answer is no. It's only at "half cock" until you press the trigger

All the armorer classes I've been to say no, if all the safeties were to somehow fail, the firing pin does not have enough stored energy at rest to set off a primer.
