| Anybody have one of these mounted on your 228 or 229? I recently traded my G22 for a 229 and the only thing I miss is the light. It's my understanding that a seperate rail that mounts to your trigger guard comes with this model Surefire. Is it a solid mount or should I just save up for a 229 with the integrated rail? Any comments are appreciated. |
| I think the mount comes from SureFire and is not included with the gun. This will require enough extra parts and effort that you will not be able to simply clip the light on and off the rail like with the Glock, so unless you want the gun dedicated to having the light most of the time, you will need a second gun...hey, it's a good excuse!...or the railed version of the 229. |
