WTF is that thing?
Handguns were perfected in 1982. Why are we complicating the matter?
If it involves putting my hand in front of the muzzle, or working it's way under the slide causing an OOB, or not seating in a closely-fitted kydex holster, fuget it.
EDIT: oh this is your company? you need to talk to site-staff before marketing your barrel-condom. |

I'm sorry Dan, but handguns were perfected in 1851 with the Colt Navy Muzzleloader revolver. They've just gone downhill since...

They keep dirt, debris, etc. out of the gun. Protect the crown from impact, scratches, etc. They can be shot out if need be, but are made to be reusable. Fit all the popular gun calibers. I think they have a website. Just google it. Are you saying we should take this thing out of a loaded gun prior to use?
fingers muzzle ouch? |
| i laughed so hard on the replys. at least no one is bitchin at this thread, like some other forums. i think i could sit down w/ u guys and have a couple of beers. sometime to relate, i just purchased a striker fired weapon, never had one. so i asked my friend to disass. his glock 30. so i could compare it. he carries it in his pocket alot and he hasn`t cleaned it for a while. it had so much lint and fuzz balls in the slide, i couldn`t even see the parts. i told him if he would fire that pistol it would emplode w/ flame from the fuzzballs. needless to say i didn`t get a beer during that visit. |

Seriously Bro... do you think that you are the first guy to come on here to pimp your product and act like you are a disassociated third party? This has happened HUNDREDS of times. You need to contact Site Staff if you want to advertize. Oh, and I will never buy your product. 1. Because I think it is stupid and unnecessary (and I am "one of those" who puts a plug in the glock grip... just so you know where my bar is set) and 2. because of this little stunt right here. Good Day. |

I laughed too! Tac-Plug is meant to stave off incidents like this. There is nothing new under the sun... I've heard of people putting cotton balls in their barrels; but these are purpose made to keep junk out. Say you put a gun under your car seat and you get car jacked... Good luck pulling it out then taking it out of a holster! Then I've got too many guns to have holsters for all of them! Of course you can shoot through them, why would you bother taking them out of a loaded gun in an emergency? |
