I was psyched about getting my stainless TRP at the beginning of this month.  Super accurate!  I just noticed that the rear right dot is dimmer by 25-30% than the left dot.    Front and left dot are very bright.  It's still visible, but in the next five years, it will be very noticeable given the half-life.

How's is that possible?  Leak?  Anyone else have this issue?

I called SA/CS and spoke to a "Vickie"  what a brush off.  She said that I would have to send it to them at my dime, and that everyone was headed to Camp Perry, so they will not get to it anytime soon.  And to think that I just dropped a bit of change on one of their products.

Called again yesterday and spoke to a "Debbie", who was a complete opposite.  She sent me the Fed-Ex label, etc.  No bullshit.  Should have been like that the first time.  Sent slide back yesterday.........

Deb is supposed to be in charge of organizing work for the Custom Shop. She's known for being extremely helpful.

Glad they got you taken care of.

Customer service with them is top notch, I've sent my gun back three times. I'm shocked you had a bad experience with Vickie.

Deb is great and will square you right away.

I had to wait a while too when everyone was at shot show.

Thanks guys.

Debbie said that the slide is on it's way back to me.  They replaced the entire rear sight under warranty.

I live about 30 minutes from SA, and have had some problems with a 1911 loaded in the past. Deb was the go to person also. She does not get enough pat's on the back for all the extra miles she has gone through to make sure that everything is 100%. Glad you got it fixed! for what they are charging for the TRP, you deserve a 100% handgun.
