I just got a "PRO-CDP I" and it didn't come with a take-down tool.

I heard you can use a bent paper clip - how do you bend it?

How about a small (.050 or 1/16) allen-wrench?

Thanks in advance.

all you need is to stick it in the hole in the guide rod to retain the recoil spring.  Paper clip, allen wrench or piece of still wire. It'll all work

I took a small allen wrench and cut it down, but just bending a paper clip would be easier.

Rack the slide back and find the small hole on the guide rod.  Stick a paper clip in, and bend it 90 degrees - parallel (along side) the guide rod.

That's it.
