Has anyone seen or handled one of these yet? I am curious to see the quality for the MSRP. I know it is not a Kmber, Baer, SA, Wilson, Colt, etc, etc. With Taurus' reputation for reliable guns at affordable prices, I personally can't wait. Thanks for any info!

In my experience, Taurus offers a lifetime warranty on their guns because they need it.YMMV

Save yer cash and get a quality 1911.
I've been playing with and shooting IPSC with 1911's for decades.
There's nothing better than a good 1911
and nothing worse than a crappy one.

taurus is made in Brazil...many Springfields are/were made in brazil...hmmmmmmm perhaps we've been buying taurus 1911s for a long time and didnt know it.

That might be overstating the case a bit.
