I have a 617 DAO 2 inch that is having a problem with the cylinder locking up while firing. Upon inspection I noticed the cylinder isnt lining up with the barrel just right. Has anyone seen this problem before How long for warrenty service? Junk gun or just a lemmon? WTF?

I've owned a 617 doa,non ported going on 5 years now. I've mostly shot S&B 158grn .357 loads thru it. I know over a 1000 rounds thru it. The gun is tight and no problems with timing. Very nice little wheelgun. It sounds like you picked up a lemon and need to send it back to Taurus. I've heard taurus has a fairly fast turnaround time on warrenty work. |
