I've read a few reviews on this new pistol and am liking what I am reading and am seriously considering making this my next gun.
Can anyone give me some feedback on this gun? Who has one? |

I'm now happily Taurus free. 617T Titanium 357 7-shot snubby Cylinder locked up. Shot 3 feet high & 2 feet left at 15 yards. I sent it back to Taurus and they fixed it, but I didn't trust it. Plus, I finally accepted that I'm an auto man at heart. Funshop just sold it on consignment. |
Not many Taurus fans in the Taurus forum...........tells ya something, eh? And I DO say that as a very happy owner of one Taurus revolver, the thing has been great. The model you ask about is fairly new, I can understand how there aren't many owners out there to give reviews yet. |

I have a friend who has a an 809. He hates it. It doesn't fire about 10% of the time. The firing pin hits the primer but not enough to cause it to ignite. He sent it back to Taurus and after some run around 8 weeks later they sent him a new gun. Here's a video of someone else having the exact same problem with the same gun:
