Consider me relatively dunce on the issue of revolvers, as I JUST bought a Taurus 608 357 mag (oh yeah, the one with 8 rounds!). Anyway, the double action trigger pull is stuck at something in the 12 lb. range.

I'm guessing there's no intrinsic adjustment to this? Adjusting the trigger spring tension would only make the single action tension unsafe to fire (it's already only 3 lbs or so) So... Am I doomed to the cotton fields of slow firing? Or am I just going to have to build up some man hands?

12 lb is not out of line for a DA revovler.  Not great mind you, but within spec.

Dry fire the snot out of the thing for a while.  It may ease things up a bit.

Also, you can take the thing completely apart, thoroughly clean, lube with something like molyslide and reassemble.

I had a 608 10years ago and it had a heavy trigger until I dry fired it every day and it smoothed out. The more trigger pulls the better.
