| Anybody have one? How do they shoot? Are they reliable? Thanks John |
There are several threads going about these.... From working at a gunshop and selling many of these I can say that I have never had any come back for any warranty repairs or issues and only one of them has been traded in used. Accuracy seems to be reasonable and reliability has not been an issue from what I've gathered from customers that have reported back to me. For the money, I think they are a good piece. As long as you can get into one for around $500 I think you are doing just fine. |

oh crap, my fault--late night last night i guess ![]() i've only handled the PT911, never shot, never owned it from my expierences w/ taurus's autos (besides the PT1911 and PT92), i've never rated em too favorable for longevity (parts wise) or consistant reliability YMMV |

The general overall consciousness from those that own them is favorable. However.......................................... the ones I've personally examined have been sub par in the detail/QC department. Overall the majority of the PT 1911s seem to fulfill the requirements of their owners with reliability over ascetics being the norm. However those with warranty issues will find the the that the warranty process thru Taurus is slow and pain full. |
