| Ive been looking at stainless steel wheel guns for my boat ,I like the 38,357 mag one. Have any of yall had experance with the gun , would I be better to save my money for a s&w? |
| Update : Chapperjoe here on the board has a 45acp tracker for sale Ive contacted him about it and waiting on some more pics of it. I asked him how do the steller/moon clips work , but I forgot to ask him do you have to use them for a just incase. I have 1911's so it will save on my ammo , even though I like the idea of a gun that can take 2 kinds of ammo, the 45acp should better for me. Thanks |

I had a Tracker Stainless in .41 Mag for a while. It was very well made, seemed to handle the full house magnum loads very well. Trigger was rough, compared to good S&Ws, but no worse than, say, an out of the box Ruger. Very accurate gun; and the porting combined with the "Ribber" grips made short work of the recoil generated by the .41... I think you'll be happy with the .45 version; CDNN had .45 Colts on sale for a while, and I kick myself for not picking one up... Regards, Kevin |
| I have a Tracker in .357 magnum. For the price I think it is a good deal. The trigger is nowhere near as good as a S&W though. I don't like the ribber grip myself. I just ordered a Hogue replacement for it though. If you want a good, no frills revolver, I think the Taurud will do you right. |

I had the model 627 tracker and really enjoyed it. My only complaint was the ribber grips which began to come apart after a few 110+ degree summers. Very nice revolver and the porting does help for the magnum loads or for weaker shooters. With .38s and the porting it seems like your shooting a .22 Man i miss that gun |
