| Okay, confess those of you who have one, and actually think they are fun. |
| I had a Interdynamic KG-99 it was alot of fun and evil looking but other than that I didnt see any practical use for it. I now own a Sport-22 (Tec-22) the little thing is a blast I can load up Ramline 50's in about 10 seconds with my mag loader then unload them and repeat. My Kg-99 had lots of jams on average probably 1 out of every 30 but the thing had probably 10,000 through it before I bought it. My bud had a AB-10 that blew up on him. I had a bunch of pics of the receive that cracked on him. I would buy one again if the price is right I picked up my KG-99 for about $175 and sold it for over twice that. My little .22 was about $100 and honestly I get about 1 jam out of every 150 which aint bad. |
I've had one since Sept 12, 1994 Pretty fun at the range. I probably have about 5000 rounds through it. Only had a couple feed problems but that was back when it was new. Since then though it's worked fine.

I had the opportunity to shoot a friend's. He gave it to me to troubleshoot since he claimed to be having extraction problems with it. The thing was accurate enough and it functioned OK with 2 of the 3 magazines. One magazine caused FTF after FTF. But in my opinion, this gun is pointless without full auto. There are absolutely no redeeming qualities about shooting it semi. Reasons why I wouldn't ever consider owning one: 1) Sights are fixed, ie welded to the receiver 2) Recoil (due to blowback operation) is much more noticeable than a Glock 17 3) Controls are an ergonomic train wreck - uncomfortable trigger and grip are the biggest offenders. |
| Ok I confess I own one. It isn't the most reliable weapon, but it is very fun. I can shoot accurately with it, but the trigger has something to be desired. I find that you have to give the trigger a quick pull to keep the gun from jamming. I’ve been shooting this weapon my whole life. And the cocking handle sometimes breaks off and has to be replaced. I have seen the open bolt KG-9 version. Those tend to be more reliable than its closed bolt TEC-9 brother. However, they also tend to be harder to find and more expensive being more collectable. I like it, but wouldn’t trust my life to one. |
