 ?? Big Window or Bold Dot? Introducing Osight C & K I've been testing both for a while and I do like the C, especially for the price point, but if you can afford the price jump from the K to an SE (you can find them for $140ish if you shop around) I think you are better off with the enclosed SE. The C is RMR footprint and has less height to it than the original Osight and Osight X have, but with a much more distortion free aspherical lens. It is still a very big (and clear!) window compared to an RMR.

Not telling people of their full involvement (or outright making positive claims about a product) makes someone a shill. Coming right out and saying exactly what you get for free (or a discount), then reporting factually since you have have hands on experience before 99% of the people have heard of them can be useful. The pre-order price of the K is lower than almost every used price I've seen on a 407K. It would be nice to see green dots. |

But coming out with an open emitter shows they're racing to the bottom instead of concentrating on selling top dollar optics. There's nothing wrong with that as they'll certainly sell a lot more $150 optics over $400 ones. Next stop is a huge window (28x22 range). |

I believe it was your post that brought the SE to my attention. I went to Reddit too and found a link with coupon code that allowed me to pick one up for $143 shipped. I have the optic in hand just waiting for my gun to arrive now. I looked at an S model in the shop and the dot was crisp and glass clear. The clearest glass I’ve seen on something at this price point. I also feel like this optic will take a bit of a beating. This is my first pistol dot and I’m excited to try it out and see how I like it. I’m an old dog teaching myself some new tricks. |

There is a video where a guy somewhat has a relationship with Osight for review optics. Good or bad. He couldn’t confirm or deny that there will be other color dots. I like green as well and I do switch back and forth to red. Green usually works best with my eyes and typically are not a smudge looking dot. The Osight S I looked at was crisp and clear. Some of the best glass I’ve seen on an optic not mention at this price point. |

I told them they were diluting their offerings with the K, but they believe there is enough market for them. It is a very budget option, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are available for $120ish regularly from other sellers. I've been finding the S and SE for under $150 on gun.deals and I am up to 5 S's now because of that.  Here is a side-by-side of the K and C. They are both on Glock 19 clone slides, but the K is sitting on an Osight RMR to RMSc adapter (only $20 and great quality) because the cheap V8 ported AIM Surplus complete upper is total trash and the optic is only held in by screws, no threaded posts or locator pins at all, so I have the plate glued down with an excessive amount of Vibratite VC3. The C is definitely a nice size. It sits low enough in my P80 slide that I think I will be ditching my suppressor height sights for standard height sights. |

And still no lockout option on the new models I dont get going in reverse by releasing the enclosed eps carry copy first and the open K x2 after at close to the same price point. Backwards step indeed. Why wouldnt you get the eps carry enclosed knockoff that came out first instead of the K x2 knockoff open emitter? Weird marketing But hey, 3 more days and you can get a free towel. I guess thats better than the fridge magnet? |
