| Been thinking about getting a Glock for a while. I've shot a few and kinda like the way it handled. I already have a pistol, FNX 45 and love it and it's high capacity. But I just want another pistol and a Glock seems like it could be it. So here's my question, is there a multi caliber Glock? What I mean is is there a Glock that I can change out the slide and magazine to a different caliber? I've been looking at the 20 in a 10mm and was thinking it'd be pretty cool to get different slides for different calibers like a 9, .40 and even a 357 sig. Is this possible? A multi caliber Glock? Thanks for the help yall! |

G21 can be converted to 10mm
40 S&W-357 Sig-9mm uppers are interchangeable and may or may not need ejectors changed out to function. 40 S&W-357 Sig are just barrel swaps 40 S&W-357 Sig pistols can be converted to 9mm with a conversion barrel http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=241 |

Are you considering it being a carry pistol? Range pistol? To me I would rather add a 9mm than a 40/357 pistol because of having to add multi caliber ammo and mags. But with everyone starting to go into full panic mode a multi caliber pistol would be a good option for when ammo of one caliber is scarce. |

I believe that there are only two frame widths, so 9/40/357sig and 10mm/45acp can interchange barrels.
But the conversions aren't cheap and the gen 4's come with $75-100 worth of mags, so it's not as cost-effective as you may think to go that route. In some cases the extractor needs to go too so it's no longer a "drop in" system. So for ~$200 you can have a barrel and 3 mags. For $350 (PD trade in cost ) to $550 new you can have a gun and three mags. I prefer to just buy them all!

I would like it to be a range/HD/training pistol. So it's not possible to have one frame and two slides for 10mm and 9mm? Nope completely different frame sizes. 45 and 10 interchange and 9/40/357 on frames. That's why holsters are often marked Glock 20/21, Glock 19/23/32, Glock 17/22/31, Glock 26,27,33, and Glock 29/30 |

Dang I was hoping there would be a chance but I guess not. I wanted a 10mm but I also want to be able to switch calibers and don't want another 45. |

I believe there is a 10mm to .40 conversion kit, but it falls into the category of more trouble than it's worth. Range and HD? The 34 is your answer, or the 35 with conversions to .357 and 9mm. Most honest answer is the 19 because it is the best Glock overall. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Since most 10mm FMJ "practice ammo" is loaded about like 40 anyway, it's just as effective to use a 40 conversion for practice and the ammo costs substantially less. I've also heard some guys say they like using a G20 with a 40 conversion for competition shooting because the wider frame and heavier slide really soak up the 40 recoil well while still making major power factor. |
