[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Threaded Barrel Question

I recently purchased a threaded barrel for my P-229 9mm. It is a newer model with the E2 grip that takes the 229-1 15 round mags. It is a standard model, Nitron finish. The slide will not fit on the frame with the threaded barrel . Does Sig make more than one threaded barrel for the different P-229 models? Thanks

Yes, there is a different barrel for the 229-1 frame.

Yeah, looking at topgunsupply there looks to be a different threaded barrel for the 229-1.
Going to have to sell or trade.

Dammit, ordered a threaded barrel for my M11-A1 and Sig sent me this exact same barrel, even though I told my salesman that I needed the the 229-1 barrel!
