Does anyone have any idea where one can get a threaded barrel from? Doing a Google search doesn't yield much. About the only company that comes up is Jarvis Custom.

Threading your original barrel out of the question? I've read of people doing it that way, just sending theirs out to get threaded.

I got mine from Tornado Tech a while back, I think they still make / sell them. It is a factory Beretta barrel that they threaded. I use mine with a Gemtech MM9 and it has been flawless so far.

I was told that there isn't enough barrel sticking out from the slide to thread because that was my first thought. If it's possible who would you recommend me shipping it to for threading?

Tornado tech does it as well as adco here from arfcom. Adco is cheaper at 65 then 90 from tornado tech.

If ADCO can do it I'll just send my barrel to them. Thanks, I'm going to hit them up over in industry.

What's the normal thread? 1/2 x 28?

1/2x28 is the standard US 9mm thread pitch, unless you have Colt pattern stuff at x36 or Euro stuff in 13.5 metric.

What can / piston do you have?

None. Cans / pistons are illegal in Jersey. Threaded barrels on handguns are legal though. Comps are also legal on pistols in Jersey. I'm kicking the idea around for the hell of it and will probably do it because, why not. When I move to a free state I'll have one handgun can ready.

I've known about that site for a few months. It's been saying, "Coming Soon" for a while.

HA! After reading the AU thread in the suppressor forum, I wouldn't order from them if you paid me to.

1/2 x 28 is the most common for 9mm pistols.  Metric is 13.5x1.

I had Josh at AGW thread my old 92 barrel in 1/2 x 28.
Works fine on my three different suppressors (okay two since two of them are Gemtech Tundras).

Adco did my AR9 barrel in 1/2 x 28. Most AR9s are 1/2x36.

I tried ordering a Colt 6933, but it wouldn't take my card, so I gave up. Never actually dealt with them.

I'm going to send my barrel and slide out to ADCO and have the barrel threaded to 1/2 x 28.

ADCO did an awesome job on my factory barrel. Could not be happier.

Your pics aren't showing up. I've talked to ADCO about having them thread my barrel. They said they could do it but want my slide along with the barrel. How did you ship your slide to them? I've never shipped anything like this out and I live in one of the worst states when it comes to firearms so I'm a bit leary. Also, what is that you have threaded onto the end of your barrel?

That's a piston (lid/nielson device/etc) attached to his barrel.

Not sure about NJ but I have shipped slides and barrels USPS priority mAil in a small flat rate box.
The handgun slide should not be considered a firearm by usps.

Had to Google that. Being since I'm in a socialist hell hole I know nothing about silencers and had no idea what that was.

you could put a sgs style comp on your gun it does not need a threaded barrel
