| Where can I pick one up? I have heard that there is not enough meat on the end of the barrel to reliably thread for a suppressor, and was looking for a longer, properly threaded barrel that would mount a suppressor. |

I got one of these for my 92FS M9A1 and it works like a charm with the Gemtech Trinity I use. Jarvis was pretty quick about service and shipping. Edit: Don't forget the locking block & plunger. You can find it other places for less than the $80 Jarvis charges ![]() Assuming you want to have 2 fully functional barrels. Otherwise? Send your factory barrel to a competent gun smith and have the factory barrel threaded for less than 1/2 the price. |
Not true. The Beretta is one of the few that you can use the factory barrel. I sent my bbl and slide to GemTech and they threaded it for my Vortex 9 can. If you want a Jarvis or other good aftermarket barrel that's fine, but the factory tube works perfectly. Now I don't know about other suppressor manufacturers and their products, but there's plenty of meat on a factory tube for a GemTech. |
Thanks. The reason I asked is I've also hear the Beretta barrel was a smidge too short, and some shops were milling out a recess in the forward face of the slide to make a little more room for the suppressor. Didn't make much sense to me, but I figured I'd ask. |
