Anyone know where to find one?

You will need to get the factory barrel threaded for an adapter - about $150 for threading, adapter and, thread protector.
Here are three I can personally recommend.
Aquila Precision Firearms
Tornado-Technologies
TROS USA

Is there enough there to work with?

Yes - most will thread the barrel M8x.75 to accept the adapter, the adapter will be threaded 1/2-28 to accept your suppressor.

I had mine done by TROS and am pleased.

I used this guy on silencertest.com and his work was A+. He had the Kadet back to me in a little more than a week and it works perfectly. You can PM him on this thread and get a quote. His work is very reasonable compared to some of the others.

his forum name is Hotrod9mm. Just go to the website and search his name.

Hotrod9mm is a member here as well.

Roughly how much did it cost?

I already have a dedicated Kadet that is threaded, but I might be interested in getting one of my other Kadet tops done.

Here is how mine turned out. This thing is very accurate and quiet.

Spaceman,

What basepad are you using on that Kadet Mag in the picture?

Its not a base pad, I extended that magazine by welding on the base of a standard CZ mag and then extended the channel that holds the .22 rounds by lost wax casting an epoxy shell into the extended portion.

FWIW I was not the creative individual who came up with this method, Dan0341 is the one who first posted it here.  That particular mag holds 16 rounds.

I had mine done at ADCO.

I was very pleased with the work and the quick turnaround.

Ahhhh.... I have seen that method done before, but haven't done one myself.

What are you thoughts/opinions on the setup?  It run alright?  How much does it weigh?

It runs 100%, but I have yet to find an off the shelf spring that will function the slide lock, so if you want that feature, I would stick with the 10 rounders.  A custom spring could be designed and made to work, but I am not going to go through the effort to do that.

They are time consuming to do, if you dont have above average mechanical abilities I wouldnt do it.

It weighs about the same as a loaded 9mm mag since it is pretty full of epoxy.

I had mine done at TROS and was quite pleased with the results. His Kadet adapters have a noteable "nut" appearance, versus other companies that have adapters allowing the suppressor to mount closer to the barrel.

HotRod9mm is a good guy and he has been around a while, but I cannot comment on his work as I have never been a customer... Yet.

I haven't had HotRod9MM thread any barrels, but I have 2 of his 1/2X28 adapters for the S&W 422 pistols. The barrel thread on these guns is 11/32X48. Anyway the part is a very reasonable $45 and , both the adapter and thread protector are gorgeous. Stainless or blued (I have both).
I would have no hesitation to send a barrel to him for threading.
Rather than wrench flats on the adapter, HotRod's are broached for a 1/4" Allen wrench.

I have a Kadet kit that came threaded from Hi-Desert Dog. I haven't mounted a suppressor on it yet, but it is otherwise peachy.
