I bought a threaded barrel for my M&P .45 from S&W. I got a full size barrel thinking it would fit my midsize pistol. I tried to install it today and it is too long and won't install.
Did they make a threaded barrel that will fit from the factory for the midsized pistol or should I just send this out to be chopped and threaded to the appropriate length. |

Threaded full size barrel won't work. However, I did send off my non-threaded barrel and had it cut down and threaded for the 45c and it works just fine.
I just wish I could do the same for my 9mm. So to answer your question, I would send it off to get it threaded. |
