Are separate, threaded barrels available anywhere?

I just got my .22lr barrel back from Tornado Technologies.
They extended the barrel, threaded it and put a thread protector on it. It looks great and I test fit with 2x different suppressors. I hope to get to the range soon and test it out. I don't think anyone makes a threaded replacement barrel like the one I bought from Lone Wolf for my Glock 17 |

How did they extend it, can you post a picture? I'm not a gunsmith and would do a poor job of explain "how" a barrel is extended. There's really nothing to see in the photos. The seam between the original barrel and the extension is nearly invisible. There's just a tiny hairline ring at the seam. I'd suggest you check out the Tornado Technologies website to see example of their work. I think you'll find the answers you're looking for there. |
