Because i am so optimistic about the HPA I got to thinking that a threaded barrel for my usp 45 is in order.
1-Can i just buy a HK threaded barrel, install, and shoot? 2- Is there better aftermarket barrels? 3- What is the actual threading to look for? 4- Or should I just find a usp tactical or HK45 tactical? Thanks for the input |
Yes, you can buy threaded barrels, for $300 bucks.

You can buy a factory barrel directly from HK for $239 with free shipping and a free HK knife (BF only)

Forgot about the sights being different on the tactical, I already did the match trigger upgrade and don't like to sell guns (especially since I bought this gun before WA passed the bullshit UBC) so I guess i need to think on this. Thanks for all the replies. FWIW- personally, I am not a big fan of tall, suppressor sights. They are fine if you are going to shoot the can all the time on a dedicated host gun but kinda in the way any other time. While I have dedicated host guns, my favorite all purpose set-up is a USP45 with standard sights and a threaded barrel. If I have the range to myself, I can throw my Octane45 on and just imagine the portion of the target obscured by the can (not that much) and focus on the front sight like I am supposed to anyway. |
