I have a ruger 22/45 that I want to eventually thread.

It's the plane jane 22/45 5.5 inch bull barrel.

I know it would be easier to trade it in on a threaded model, but I don't like the shorter barrel length.

I don't want a paclite one either, I actually love the heft of the pistol.

Can anyone suggest an online gunsmith that could do this for me?

GemTech also does barrel threading.

wouldnt it be much cheaper to just buy a paclite upper that is already threaded

300 bucks for the upper, $140 to get it threaded from adco.

Plus I don't want the light weight upper
