1) Is it true that European, i.e., Fiocchi, .380 ammo is hotter than their American counterparts? 2) Does anyone have any experience with the "EXTREME SHOCK, The Worlds's Most Advanced Ammunition! Match Grade Anti-Terrorist Munition" tungsten-NyTrilium composite ammo? 3) Is the ammo mentioned in Question 2 worth $7.49 for 5 rounds?! A hearty advanced thanks for y'alls answers! |

1) Not sure. 2) No, but I wouldn't waste my time. Looks like bullsh*t marketed to mall ninja types to me. Don't waste your time, get something proven like Hydrashoks, SXT's, or Gold Dots. Like these: Hydra-Shok SXT Speer Gold Dot 3) Hell no! See links above. there ya go, I gave it a shot! (Pun intended) |

Yes - - - Fiocchi is a little "hotter" than most 380 ball ammo. But so is S&B, and S&B is easy to find. I do at times carry a 380, but never "comfortable" with it -- seems to be a little "light" for serious work. But . . any gun in the hand is better than the one left at home. I always load my with "ball" ammo, or the Remington 102 GS load. With a caliber this small I want penetration, not expansion. Just my 2 cents . . . . . |

1) yes, but not optimal for self defence. 2/3) BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Can you say hype? Anti terrorist ammo? Give me a fucking break. One look at "charlie's angels" on the home page (http://www.extremeshockusa.com/) should give you a clue that this is mall ninja ammo being marketed to people who have no experiance with guns outside of airsoft and their counterstrike webring. "E-Shock rounds are engineered to expend maximum energy into soft targets, turning the density mass into an expanding rotational cone of NyTrilium matrix particles, causing neurological collapse to the central nervous system." Riiiiight I use winchester ranger T in 380. $18/50 rounds |
