Greetings,
Thinking about getting some kind of timer to practice increasing my speed. I typically shoot at an indoor range where there are 10 ports and the place is usually packed. My questions are.... 1. Can someone recommend a good, but not too pricey, timer. I understand there are now apps for Smart Phones for a timer. I do not have a Smart Phone. 2. If I'm shooting at my range, will the timer pick up those shooting around me? If so, is there a way to filter out those shooting around me? 3. Is an indoor range not ideal for a timer? Thanks!!! |

On a noisy indoor range, the best timer is a loud one. It will pick up other shooters. You can use the Par time feature to get some benefit but it's still not as good as practicing somewhere where the timer picks up only your shots.
Pretty much all good timers will be $120 or so. Gringop |
