AK_Bul, they are good guns, the cheap surplus ammo isn't as common as it once was. You'll have better luck searching for info if you use the correct nomenclature. It's TokaREV not TokaROV.  I haven't seen any that are outright dogs yet but, the top of the pile seem to be the Polish M48's in terms of fit an finish. The Romanian ones can be fine but, not as pretty. The Yugo ones have longer grip frames and magazines but, that means mags can be harder to find. The Yugo ones have about the best of the aftermarket add on safeties that were added to any variant imported.  Older Chinese Tok's were great pistols as well if you can find a good deal on one.

The too many parts comment is BS. The Tokarev is a derivative of a Browning design with some well thought out modifications. The frame is milled with internal feed lips that greatly reduce the likelihood of jams from bad mags. Also the fire control group is modular and can be removed as a pack for cleaning.  It lifts straight up out of the frame when field stripping. Nice feature.

The grip angle is a bit goofy but, I still find that they shoot well.
