| I just found at a flea market a 1911 slide in SS. The only markings are "COLT'S GOVERNMENT MODEL" on the right side. The rear adjustable sight has "MMC" on the left side...and thats it. Any idea as to who made it , age or value? Ill post pics soon. |

Seems like it is a Colt full size 5 inch with the aftermarket MMC rear sight..
Sight unseen, it may be in nickel, either way worth over $100 Check the locking grooves for damage & overall condition. Meanwhile, pics would be helpful. Wonder where the other parts ended up
