First of all, Merry Christmas, everyone!

I just installed a Nowlin trigger in my new (< 100 rounds) Springfiled G.I., and I've got a problem. I'm not sure whether it's pre-travel, creep or a little of each.

When I squeeze the trigger, there is a little of what I'd call pre-travel before the trigger meets resistence (stops.) As I squeeze the trigger more, all of a sudden there's more trigger movement - that feels/sounds crunchy - before it stops again and then drops the hammer crisply.

The other symptom is that, if I work the trigger back and forth (with hammer cocked) I can feel movement in the grip safety unless I have a death-grip on it.

Any insights, ideas, recommendations, etc. gratefully received.

Thanks,

Mike
