| Does anyone have any advice on removing the trigger pin? I can't for the life of me manage to get the blasted thing out. |

The all steel K series just pushes out from Left to Right with a punch and a small hammer. I "assume" they all do, but I'm only "up" on the steel models. Depending on your model, make SURE there's no locking feature holding the pin in place. Make sure you have clearance on the underside for the pin to move out. The "trick" of getting pins out is to have the gun in a firm, no bounce-no move setup. If the gun shifts or moves when the punch is tapped, the force is dissipated and the pin may actually deform and lock even tighter in place. |

unclemoak, do you have a CW9? im looking at mine and it appears to have a blind pin locking the trigger pin. The blind pin i did not notice at first, but is installed from the inside top of trigger guard/frame. Did yours have this? and is this why it was so hard to remove? Thanks |
damn, I have the punches, no 25 ton press--guess I am screwed-huh???Was there a reason to want to take that pin out even??? I know if mine isn't broke, I sure in hell ain't screwin with that pin... |
I'm in the process of applying a black finish to my stainless K9, so I wanted to strip it down and refinish each part individually. |
