| I want to replace the sights on my Taurus PT 1911 with a good set of tritium sights. I want to go 3 dot like my other pistols. Thinking Trijicon, Meprolight or something along those lines. Any recommendations for a 1911 and where are the cheapest places to get them. Thanks in advance. |

Trijicon seems to be the industry leader from the git-go, IMO. Longest warranty, best selection, etc. As for pricing, you'll need to shop around. Sometimes you can find a sale. The important thing is they're like beer: the "born-on date" is VERY important! Good luck!
