| Anyone know how long it takes to get your slide back from the custom shop? no machining involved, just getting the Mil Spec sights put on my 1911A1 GI. |
| Not sure of the time difference between my warranty repair and just sending one in to get a simple sight swap done, but I had to send my Mil-Spec in to get a new front sight put on as the staking came loose on the original front sight last month. It was delivered to Springfield on 1/30/2012 and my slide arrived back to me on 2/18/2012, that should atleast give you a general idea of what timeframe to expect. |
