Dumb question on value here -
I was in a fun store today and they had a some Combat Elites. Two had consecutive serial numbers and asking around to my shooting bubbas (who, like me, are far from experts on any subject) that appears to be a rarity. They are asking $900 each, that same as the ones they have out of sequence. The question is, is there any extra value to having two with consecutive serial numbers from a collector's perspective? Thanks J |

There are (or will be) a large number of these pistols available and unless you find someone that just has to have sequential Combat Elites then any extra value would likely be minimal. |

I could see wanting consecutive numbers for a father-son or husband-wife type purchase, but other than that it's just a number. Now, I've got two consecutively serialed AR lowers, and THOSE will be worth big bucks someday!! ![]() Dude, your lowers ALREADY worth big bucks... at least more than what they worth a year ago. |

I have four consecutively numbered lower receivers, would love a pair of 1911s.
I heard glock works very hard to not ship out pairs but I found a pair of used G22s, maybe they were LEO trades that were consecutively numbered. I should have bought them, they were only $385 a piece. If I had the money and was in the market I would buy them. You might not be able to turn around and sell them for a profit right away, but $900 seems like a good price for a combat elite anyway! |
