I just finished the rebuild and refinish on a hi-cap, ported Para for Tim Sylvia...the Heavywieght Champion of the Octagon Ring. Keep in mind I stand 5'9" on a good day and he is slouching in this photo.

Cylinder and Slide hammer and sear, Hand Checkered the mainspring housing, serrated the rear of the slide, Bomar rear sight, my custom made front sight, bead blast blue, and some other minor work...

I should have gotten a before picture... it was horrible when it showed up. He seemed pretty happy with it when it was all said and done.

A big thanks to RB Precision for the introduction to Tim and all the extra effort for me in 2006. Here's to another good year for 2007.

Take care,
Bob

Any pics of the pistol?

I should have put them up too.

My apologies for the poor picture quality.  The slide is a Brazilian made and the Para is obviously made in Canada.  For what it is, it turned out very nice and shoots great.

If that gun isn't 100% reliable, you better build yourself two that are!

They're inversely proportional to how crappy the Chicago Democrats are. FWIW, it's the Democrats in Southern IL that keep alot of those laws from getting passed.

It is basic Karma...Evil (Chicago) being balanced by Good (Us).  It's a pretty rough battle, but tell your southern Democrats to keep up the good work - We are going to need it for the next few years.

Thanks for the kind words.

I used to live somewhere in IL. Our state Senator told us basically, it's political suicide for them to go along with the party, and it's suicide for them to publicly stand against the party, so they just vote no over and over, and don't say a word about it.
