USCCA Membership How many people have this here. I just sent out my new application for Florida since right now I cannot carry in my parents state with my NM CCL and was wondering if anyone here is a memeber. I have thought about it for a year but in that time I have moved, been shot at (not in the US), and started reloading. I also have SWAT mag delivered to my house and i updated my NRA memebership. Yes or no on a 1 year memeber ship here? It is $69/year? not much if you break it down in 12 month payments but all at once.... |
| I joined a couple of months ago. The $69 per years also gives you unlimited use of their Internet site. You will have access to the forums and all the back issues of Concealed Carry magazine, in downloadable PDF format. Pretty reasonable if you ask me. The magazine is very good and getting better. |
| I joined myself in December. The price was a little steep, but, he has very little advertisement compared to other websites out there. The same holds true for his magazine. Server space, bandwidth, and publishing costs money, and I don't think $69/year is too bad. You can also subscribe to just the magazine if you want to. |
The "magazine only" subscription is $39/year. |

I joined in mid summer of 2006. My cost was the $130 package for a three year subscription, a CDROM with back issues, received some membership stuff and so on. I think the money was well spent. The Mag has been revised and they just added 15 pages more content with the Jan2007 issue. Tim Schmidt did one heck of a job in his grass roots effort to produce a magazine that fills the concealed carry niche of all the gun mag flack out there. His writing prose is getting better and the subject matters are varied enough to keep it interesting. Anyone that carries concealed should at least get a one year sub for the $39. The only beef I have is the 1.5 month issue frequency, but other than that I highly recommend the publication. As one poster mentioned, for the price, it is worth supporting the magazine. Additionally, I recently matched the $130 on an NRA membership - consider doing the same! Support your gun rights organizations that support YOU! Now GO VOTE at the polls! Vote PRO-GUN~ |
