| Several months ago, I put ~40 rounds out of a friend's H&K USP .40 full-size, and loved it. Now I'm ready to make a purchase, but I see (almost) everyone in this forum has the Compact. How's the recoil/etc compare on the Compact vs Full-size? Does everyone get the Compact for CCW? |

Get both! I own both. They're both good guns. The full size does recoil less; enough that you can tell a difference. Some people carry the full size, but it's too bulky for me to carry IWB. The compact has a smaller grip, and I might even shoot it better because of the grip...though I seem to shoot the fullsize as well, I don't have quite the same level of confidence with it. I suppose I haven't shot it in a while though. |
