Okay, I really want to get a USP45C (possibly a CT, if I can find one for the right price) for a carry piece in the next couple months. The only thing I don't like about the C is the bobbed hammer. My question is: can a full-size style hammer be put on a compact? Also, does anyone make hi-pro adjustable night sights (or just hi-pro night sights) for the USP45C/CT? Finally, what can I expect to pay for a used USP45C or CT?

Thanks!

ETA: Can I just buy a USP45 Match trigger kit and use all the parts on a USP45C/CT?

I didn't think I would like the bobbed hammer on my 2 compacts and I was wrong.

Sorry, I'm no help...

The thing I don't like about it is that I wouldn't be able to cock the hammer with my thumb. I've just never been a fan of a bobbed hammer on any handgun. I love my USP45 Tactical and I'd love to have just a compact version of that for CCW, so I'd like to put a Match trigger kit on it if possible.

Yes, the full size and the Compact use the same hammers and if compare hammer to hammer, have the same part numbers.  You will notice the Compact V9 hammer (SA/DA and spurred) has the same part number as the USP V1, SA/DA and spurred).
So, order either the Compact V9 or USP V1 hammer and swap them out.  It's as simple as that.

You cannot put the full match kit in the Compact.  You either half-ass it one way by retaining the compact trigger or half-ass it the other way by cutting down the length of the Match trigger.  A lot of people do it but it seems like a waist to me to have a standard trigger in there or a butchered trigger in there.  The Compact is not a target pistol so I fail to see the need for a match trigger in the pistol.  If you want a fine trigger in the USPC look at the LEM V1 which gives a very light 5 pound DAO LEM pull with the same pull from first shot to last.

Awesome, thanks. I just like the trigger pull on my Tactial, that's why I asked about the Match kit. But I can live with the original trigger pull and put a regular hammer on it.

ETA: Is there a reason I've never seen anyone else do this? Also, is it something I can do myself without F'ing up the pistol?

There have been a lot of people do this on HKPRO.  The main reason most do not do it is because the spurred hammer is more prone to catching clothing than is the bobbed hammer and since the USPC is a CCW primarily, a smooth hammer definitely has an advantage.  One can cock the bobbed hammer if one is very careful.  Make sure the safety is ON then thumb the hammer back.  It is not difficult to do from the hammer dropped position.  If you drop the hammer all the way, which is not advisable, then it is harder to cock but the hammer should always be lowered by the decocker and never thumbed down.  Thumbing the hammer down will eventually end up with a bullet in the floor because sooner or later, you will slip and with the trigger pulled back the firing pin block is disengaged and then when the hammer slips off the thumb the pistol will fire.

Changing the hammer is not difficult but you must work carefully around the flat spring.  Or HK will be glad to do it for you.  Any of the detailed stripping instructions will walk you through the hammer change.

Exactly.  I wouldn't change a thing about my USP45C.  It's the most accurate handgun I own.

...get a V9 trigger and go SA only - same pull from first to last and lighter and shorter than the LEM...

V9 is NOT single action only.  It is still a single action/double action trigger only the decock function is not there due to a different detent plate.  V9 is SA/DA safe only and is designed to be carried cocked and locked since there is no safe way to decock, but it is still a SA/DA trigger.  HK does not make a SAO trigger in any of the polymer pistol lineup.

I understand how the HK USP triggers work and didn't mean to imply that the V9 setup is an SA only setup, but that the V9 in SA only operation is the same pull from first to last and lighter than the LEM.

I'm not aware of a safe way to chamber a round and de-cock the hammer with a V9/10 trigger, so, for all practical purposes, V9/10 is SA with DA/restrike capability.

I don't have a problem cocking the bobbed hammer on my USP45C...
