[ARCHIVED THREAD] - USP 40

I have a chance to pick up a USP 40 at a pretty good price. I am not all that familiar with them so my question is. What's the difference between the older models and the newer ones? The one I am looking at is a older model. Any issues I should be aware of?

IIRC the pre-'94 models have traditional land&groove rifling. Later models have polygonal rifling.

IMO poly rifling is a bit easier to clean, but it's contraindicated for unjacketed bullets (lead fouling leading to overpressure).
