I know the USP 45 Tactical pistols come with the match trigger, are they all SA/DA or are some of them LEM? I have one on order and when the order was placed I was under the impression that all of them are SA/DA so the trigger type wasn't specified. If I choose to carry it I would like carry it cocked and locked so SA/DA is a must. Also where can I learn about all of the different HK trigger varients? |

The standard HK Tac comes with the V1 match trigger and if you ordered and did not specify then that is almost certain what you will get. The detent plate pretty much determines the variant, not the trigger. And no, the match trigger cannot be had in LEM; two completely different trigger systems. If you get a V1 which is SA/DA then you can change variants by changing detent plates and maybe the control lever, neither of which has anything really to do with the match trigger parts. To learn more about the variants go to HKPRO and into the World of HK, then down to the USP series of pistols. All the variants are listed there. Or if you are really lazy, click here and scroll to the bottom. By the way, if you want to carry C&L it does not mean it must be a V1 (SA/DA safe/decock). V9 is also SA/DA but does not have the decock lever, only the safe. A lot who carry C&L prefer this variant because they are use to riding the safety as on the 1911 and with no decock there is no chance, albeit small, of accidentally decocking. |
