Greetings, I read on the H&K website that the overall width of the 9mm USP compact is 1.14". Usually overall width means the widest part of the gun such as the slide stop or safety lever. What is the width of the grip? Thanks to anyone that can help Take care |
I have average sized hands......probably more towards smaller rather than large. I dont need the extended finget rest at all. As a matter of fact I carry it all day every day with a flat base in it, mainly because I feel it hides better with out a pointed grip sticking out. The truth is that the HK USP Compacts are rather large compaired to most other compact pistols. A Glock19 is about the same size but is a bit slimmer over all. I think the USPC is the perfict sizer for just about any application. Its small enough to CCW but big enough to be a duty/primary pistol(not that many people would use a compact anything as a duty weapon, but you get what I'm saying). ETA- I just measured the grip and it seems to be just a hair over an inch. |
