[ARCHIVED THREAD] - USP Compact .40 question

I'm new to H&K. Just received my first one on a trade. Looks brand new. The original owner said he put between 50 and 60 rounds through it. I was going through the case and under the cushion was the receipt. I can't remember what city in Texas is was purchased in, but the price on it was $834.00. During trade the owner said he knows he overpaid. So my question is..... how much are these handguns really worth? I know it depends on where you buy it and the condition and all that, so I'm just looking for a guesstimate if it was brand new. I looked on the internet and on the EE, but the price fluctuates so much I thought I would come in here and just ask.

Thanks in advance for any answers given. Also, I will post pictures soon.

And... if anyone is interested, I traded a MasterPiece Arms .45 Carbine for it.

I think I paid about $800 for mine new a few years back. Looks like Buds has them for about the same.

$834 sounds about right for a NIB HK from a gunshop.

Used = $550- $700 depending on what you have and condition

2 years ago i paid $600 for a 06 model with 2 mags and an est 200 rds(i believe it) through it. I dont know much about what you traded for it but the price he paid sounds about right.

I payed 750 for my bi tone usp45 and 950 for my bitone usp9 compact but it came with two extra mags and 200 rds. Price sounds about right. Used I would say around 650 to 7
