Gang, read in a post under "Glock M" in the general handguns section that referenced a USP refresh? Has anyone heard any such rumor? I recall seeing a poll on HKPRO which was supposedly posted by "HK Customer SVC" but that was a couple years ago and obviously nothin' yet. Personally, it could use a refresh, seems big and clunky for what it is. Give me a Pic rail, trimmer controls, slim it down, improve grip texture and just update it.
Thanks, Dave |
| I have heard of the 'update' from a reliable source. Nothing was said on time frame. I'll say it's certainly not a redesign, and frankly won't excite too many people. As others have said, if you want a more "modern" USP look to the P30/HK45. It's more of a small feature tweak that will make some USP fans a little happier and others indifferent. |

I want nothing more out of a pistol than a USP with a P2000 type frame.
I don't like the P30 side panels, I hate the track on the inside of the trigger guard of the P30 that the bottom of the trigger rides in, I hate how the P30 doesn't take normal USP mags, I hate the non-USP recoil system of the P30. USP 2.0, pic rail, regular USP mags, changeable backstrap or not, fullsize USP recoil system, factory LEM in TGS would be a nice bonus. |

Put USP trigger in P2000 and be done. Call it P2000 enhanced. |

I'm sure this bombshell isn't going to upset the marketing dept at HK. I want to know if it something I should wait for or buy now. |
