I am currently trying out my first set of Fiber Optic sights, and running the 10-8 with the U-notched rear. Ive been running the Trij. HDs and have decided that I really like the sight picture of the FO for a general purpose sight. I am about to order another set of FOs for my other 19, and am intrigued by the WOTG square or Y notch sights.
So for you guys who run FOs, do you prefer the U or Square notch and why? |

Honestly for me it does not matter that much about the notch. More important to me is the color of the FO. I prefer a red over any other color. I originally got my FO with green and while I shot it fine for some reason I just did not like it so I went to red.
I have squared and U notch rear sights and it has never really made me draw a line in the sand one way or the other. I guess if I had to choose I would do the U notch again because I really like the Wilson\Vickers sights. It is my plan to put these on my G43 in the near future. |

Rear notch isn't important to me either, front site color of green/yellow are the two easiest color for the eye to see.
I run green fiber optics, and or yellow Trijicon HD's on all my weapons. Initially I thought I like the orange HD's better, but after a fair amount of shooting I've settled on yellow. ~g |

I feel the same way, doesn't really matter to me. I love the Vickers sights on my G19 and will be ordering another set for my G26. |
