I own a 20SF & have installed a 3.5lb trigger in it but it's still too heavy for my taste. A fellow USPSA shooter owns a Glock that has (what feels like) a 1.5lb trigger & was pure sex. Sadly, he's in Indiana taking care of his ill parents & I have no way of reaching him by phone or e-mail.
So my question is, anyone know where I can find or send off my gun to in order to get something similiar? Cost is a concern but I realize one gets what one pays for. Thanks in advance. |

There is a .25 trigger mod that I have read makes a world of difference. Its a very fine polishing of all the trigger parts. The vids are on YT with complete instructions. The $0.25 trigger job makes the trigger break a little more crisp and clean but does very little to lighten the actual trigger pull. Other then changing out springs (Lone Wolf has a guide for what springs to use) the only other way I know of is to mod the trigger bar by moving the trigger farther up the bar itself but this requires a bit of trial and error (and a few spares) to get right. |

You have any other info on this job? Been putting off .25 trigger job, may as well just do it, and interested in the other mod you mentioned. |

Its quicker to google "Glock 25 cent trigger job" as there are a lot of how-to's and youtube vids. As for the trigger bar mod I will send you a IM with a link (not sure how ARFCOM feels about linking other forums). Edit: IM sent, let me know if you got it. |

Quoted: Was just going to post this as well. I recently bought the classic trigger kit for my 34. ( I shoot production so no external mods). They have others that lighten it even more. Compared to others, Vanek is king.Quoted: I own a 20SF & have installed a 3.5lb trigger in it but it's still too heavy for my taste. You can lower the trigger pull weight a little by installing a 6# trigger spring and a reduced-power firing pin spring. The $.25 trigger job is no mystery. Just polish all metal-to-metal mating surfaces of the firing mechanism. It ain't rocket science! I was polishing Glock trigger mechanisms before $.25 trigger job ever raised it's online head. |

Glocktriggers.com I installed in my G34 and love it... simple installation, not terribly expensive, and a huge improvement over factory... smooth and consistant break... made significant improvement in my IDPA times and accuracy! I've already dropped in a 3.5lb unit & wish to go lower. My target guns' triggers now have me spoiled.............. |
