I've got an old g17 that i'd like to upgrade the frame on. Can anyone tell me what glock charges to do that?
Thanks, Mark |

The new frame will not have the same serial number, and you will still have the older style slide.
Making the firearm a mismatched s/n will make it harder to sell in the future. My suggestion is to sell the Glock and buy a newer model of the same type. If you can wait a while longer, you could get the upcoming 4th gen. |

If you add in shipping, you will be money ahead if you sell your gun and buy a brand new one. If you can get the LE, FF, Mil deal, you will get a better price and three mags.
I upgraded a 17 back when you could get a lower from a dealer. I think that is no longer possible. I sold a 2nd Gen 21 for $350 and bought a new one for around $450 with three mags. |

Sell it, and buy a new one if you want the upgrade, as already posted.
Even if you have night sights or some other custom work, as long as it's not a complete carry package, you'll be making out better in the long run. Is it a Gen 1 or Gen 2 you are trying to get rid of? |
